BREAKING NEWS – PEDESTRIAN REPORTEDLY HIT BY VEHICLE IN CROSSVILLE

BREAKING NEWS – A pedestrian has been reportedly struck by a vehicle near the corner of Burnett Street and Webb Avenue in Crossville. Medical crews are in route. The status of the pedestrian is unknown at this time. Please avoid this area if possible. This is a breaking news story and more information will be released at a later time by the Crossville Police Department.

UPDATE – Crossville police arrested the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian at the scene. In the arrest report released today (1/3/2020), 27-year-old Brian Clayderman Lukoss was charged with driving on a suspended license. Because of the injury sustained to the man on the motor driven bicycle, Lukoss was asked and consented to a blood draw to check to see if he was under the influence. As of 5 p.m. January 3, 2020, an accident report identifying the man struck has not been released by the Crossville Police Department. The victim was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries. 105.7 News will do a follow-up story once the report is released.
