CDCP SAYS FLU ACTIVITY HAS INCREASED IN TENNESSEE
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting an increase in flu activity in Tennessee. According to the seventh annual cold and flu season survey from Staples, nearly half of the people surveyed would give up a vacation day to keep illness out of the workplace. The study says employers can do their part to help keep a healthy work environment by providing disinfecting wipes to clean work surfaces, offer office-wide flu shots and encourage employees to rest and get better when they are sick.
