CHARGES ARE PENDING IN FATAL ANDERSON COUNTY CRASH
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says charges are pending against the driver of a car in a single-vehicle accident that killed an Oak Ridge man Monday night. The THP reports that 52-year-old Mike Floer of Heiskell had been driving a 2001 Audi ATQ east on East Wolf Valley Road at around 10:45 PM Monday when he lost control of the car and left the right side of the roadway. The car then struck two tree stumps in the front yard of a home, and flipped over, coming to rest after striking the house and a parked vehicle. Floer was injured in the crash and taken to UT Medical Center for unknown injuries, but his passenger, 25-year-old Albert W. Brown was killed. Neither man was restrained and Floer had reportedly been drinking before the crash. No one was injured in the house and charges are pending.
