Crossville police responded to a theft report at the North Main Street McDonald’s Wednesday morning. An employee reported her wallet had been swiped from the front of the store, near the drive through window. The wallet was located in the vehicle of a co-worker, identified as 49-year-old Mary Moore. Moore also reportedly had acetaminophen and oxycodone pills in her possession, and a marijuana roach was found in the middle console of her Lincoln Navigator. The wallet was returned to its owner; Moore was fired and subsequently banned from McDonald’s. Charges are expected to be filed.
