LOCAL WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG-POSSESSION CHARGES
Crossville police were called to a McGuire Stone Farm Road residence recently in response to a report of an intoxicated woman issuing threats. Four patrol officers encountered 50-year-old Lee Ann Swafford, along with several drugs and drug paraphernalia. Among the drugs reportedly confiscated were several baggies of a clear crystal substance that appeared to be methamphetamine, prescription Naproxen and Ibuprofen, a vial of lidocaine and 31 Clonazepam pills. The drug paraphernalia included a glass pipe, a snort straw, several small plastic baggies and two syringes. Swafford was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV drugs and drug paraphernalia.
