Charles E. “Charlie” Jones, age 70, passed away May 29, 2017 at his home in Deer Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Shirley Owens Jones; sons: Charles Edward and Dirk Jones; granddaughters: Samantha and Kimberly Jones; step-grandchildren: Brittany Kennedy, Victoria Jones and Jaycee LaRue; step great grandson: Bentley Kennedy; brother: Chester Jones; sisters: Barbara Goodman and Vickie Swint; brother and sister-in-law: Susie Kries, Claudia Owens, Patty Newport, Winford Owens, and Allen Owens. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends who he loved very much. The family will receive friends May 30, 2017 fromm 5-7 pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 11 am at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion Flag Fund 202 S.
