Cumberland County deputies went to a home on Pomona Court yesterday for a disturbance. A witness reportedly told officers 37-year-old Shawn Michael Cook of Crossville came to the residence intoxicated and started to throw things. The report states a deputy tried to stop a physical altercation between Cook and another subject resulting in Cook allegedly pushing the officer. Cook was charged with assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
