PATTON ARRESTED ON METH CHARGE AFTER RIDING ATV ON OLD HWY. 28
While patrolling on Old Highway 28 yesterday afternoon, a Cumberland County deputy observed an ATV turn off of Hassler Road onto the highway. The officer had previous knowledge that the rider, 45-year-old John Noble Patton of Crossville, was warned about operating the four wheeler on a main road. A search of Patton reportedly revealed meth and $1500 in cash in a cargo pocket. Patton was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and driving on a revoked or suspended license.
