COOLER LATE WEEK
Partly cloudy tonight with a low in the upper 60s and there could be some patchy ground fog. Partly sunny with temperatures in the 80s on Monday a chance of scattered thundershowers with rain and a few thunderstorms likely Monday night. A cold front will pass on Tuesday and bringing some nice weather for the remainder of the week especially by Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 50’s. I see another Heatwave beginning next weekend and continuing through the following week so it looks like August will end and September begin with hot and humid conditions. There could be a few severe thunderstorms in Tennessee late Monday but the biggest threat looks to be west of Nashville but I will be monitoring and keep you updated throughout the day. High winds from a thunderstorm in Oklahoma injured 14 people Saturday evening at a Backstreet Boys concert when a structure was blown down, all of the injured have been released. There were tornadoes in Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas on Sunday but we don’t expect conditions to be favorable for tornadoes when that system reaches us.
