COOLER MONDAY

After rainy weather overnight we will see chances drop to 50% on Monday and only a slight chance Tuesday. Cooler temperatures will be the headline for the next few days on the local scene with highs only in the low 70s on Monday and upper 70s Tuesday, the nights will drop into the 60s. There will also be a Northwest Breeze at about 10 miles per hour for the next couple of days and it will feel like autumn. Temperatures will quickly make a rebound later in the week to the mid-80s. While hurricane Florence will probably not have much of an effect on our weather it is becoming a dangerous threat to the Carolinas and I will be keeping you updated on that in the coming days and be sure to warn family and friends in that area as flooding and storm surge will be big threats along with extremely damaging wind.
