COUPLE ARRESTED AFTER BURGLARIZING A CAMPER IN TANSI

Cumberland County deputies were dispatched to a camper off Apache Trail in the Tansi area after the owner called and stated two unknown subjects were inside her camper.

The woman stated she was notified by a neighbor who saw the couple enter her camper. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the lock to the camper had been forced open and broken. Deputies then witnessed Emily Threet and Justin Roberts fleeing from inside the camper. After multiple orders to stop, a deputy caught up to Emily Threet and placed her into custody. Justin Roberts was found and detained later that same day.

Emily had warrants on file for her arrest. When she was being taken into custody, a plastic bag containing a small amount of what is believed to be marijuana was found. She was charged with Burglary, Evading Arrest, and Simple Possession.

According to later records, 23-year-old Justin Roberts was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Vandalism, Resist Stop Frisk Halt Search, and Failure to Appear.
