CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA TO INCLUDE ITEMS CONCERNING CITY MANAGER POSITION
Crossville City Council Members are busy submitting agenda items to be added to next week’s monthly meeting. Council Person Pete Souza has submitted two agenda items that have to do with the role of city manager. Originally, the council had approved to wait until after the November election to begin the search for a permanent city manager. At the August monthly meeting, the council voted to rescind that resolution and to begin the search immediately. Souza wants to hold a discussion on the standards used for the search pertaining to those set down in the city’s charter. Souza also desires a discussion and possible action on the performance of interim City Manager Steve Hill and discussion of rumors affecting the morale of city employees. The City Council will meet on Thursday, Sept. 8th at City Hall.
