As the deadline for the search for a new Crossville city manager draws near, city council members have begun making plans for the selection process. January 16^th signifies the deadline for resumes and applications to be turned in. Nearly 40 have applied for the permanent position. Tuesday night, council members decided to list 6-7 favorites and to turn the names in to Human Resource Director Leah Crockett. She would then begin compiling a list of the majority of names to be interviewed in the near future. Steve Hill, the interim City Manager, has applied for the position.
