KNOXVILLE POLICE CATCH MAN SUSPECTED OF BREAKING INTO 10 BUSINESSES

A parolee who had just gotten out of prison is now being charged with breaking into 10 Knoxville businesses. 61-year-old Randall Malenich was released from prison on Nov. 17. On Dec. 26, he was captured while hiding inside of a Cherry St. business. Police had been notified that the building had been broken in through the front door. Malenich is also suspected of breaking into Animal Medical, Turner Orthodonics, Jamon’s BBQ, Carr’s Rug Cleaning, Gentry’s Trailways, Meyer’s Logistics, Free Service Tire and Kustom Stitch.
