Tuesday, the Crossville City Council voted to begin the interview procedure in the decision to choose a new full-time city manager. Council Member Scot Shanks told the council that he would like to see a final vote on the position at the February meeting. Members agreed that the six finalists would be contacted, and given a first-round option to be interviewed in-person or through electronic video means. The top six candidates are Dennis Sparks, Mark Reeter, Greg Wood, Cary Colaianni, Steve Foote and Tina Tuggle. If the candidates make it to the second round, they will be required to be interviewed in-person. Human Resource Director Leah Crockett was tasked to begin contacting the candidates so that interviews can begin immediately after the Jan. 15^th deadline. Steve Hill is the current interim city manager.
