The Crossville City Council will hold a work session immediately following a special-called meeting tonight. The special-called meeting concerns the awarding of the concessions operation bids for Centennial and Garrison Parks and the Duer Soccer Field. It will be new City Manager Greg Wood’s first official meeting with the council. Those bidding on the contract are Nick’s Italian Ice and W6 Concessions. Afterward, the council will address several items in the work session including the rehiring of retired former city employees. The special-called meeting starts at 5 PM with the work session scheduled to follow.
