CROSSVILLE CITY HALL TO RE-OPEN TO PUBLIC MAY 4, 2020
Crossville City Hall will re-open to the public Monday, May 4, 2020 in line with Governor Lee’s return to work provisions in Executive Order 30. The city staff will continue to observe social distancing requirements. Appointments will be required except for routine utility and tax payments in order to avoid unnecessary congregation of citizens waiting for service. Please call (931) 484-5113 to contact the department you need to set up an appointment with.
There will only be one entrance open at City Hall to allow frequent disinfection. Residents are still encouraged to use the drive up window if possible. Utility customers may also call 1-833-209-4457 to make their payments. The credit card fee is currently waived for the COVID-19 response.
The Governor’s order has not given clearance for gatherings over ten persons where six feet of separation cannot be maintained. Therefore, the Palace Theatre will remain closed and recreation leagues cannot begin their season’s activities.
The process of reopening for the City and business will be a phased process governed by the levels of COVID-19 infection and recovery rates. The City of Crossville asks residents to be patient, follow the CDC guidelines, and avoid unnecessary travel.
