A Cumberland County man faces another charge stemming from a recent narcotics search warrant served. Officers went to a home on Pomona Road where 48-year-old Jerry Lynn Ashburn was taken into custody on drug charges, This past Tuesday, the Department of Children’s Service responded to the residence to perform a hair-follicle exam on a 4-year-old female who was present when Ashburn was arrested. Deputies say the exam came back positive for meth. Ashburn was charged with child abuse.
