$4,400 STOLEN FROM CROSSVILLE MAN’SHOME
Yesterday, Deputy Joshua Matthews was asked to call a man about items stolen from his home on Chestnut Hill Dr. The deputy contacted the victim who said he was missing two envelopes of money containing around $4,400.00.
Both envelopes were white, but one had the victim’s name on it, and they were kept in a wooden box beside his bed.
He last knew it was there on Feb. 20 and discovered it missing on March 4th. He said he hadn’t noticed anything else missing, had no damage to his house, and often leaves his door unlocked, so someone could have just walked in. There are no known suspects at this time.
