CROSSVILLE POLICE CHARGE MAN WITH 2 COUNTS OF SELLING DRUGS
Crossville Police charged a man with selling illegal drugs Saturday. Police identified a white vehicle that had several occupants acting in a suspicious manor. A traffic stop was initiated on Livingston Road for a rear brake light being out. According to the report, the investigating officer observed the occupants moving inside the vehicle towards the floorboards. A juvenile female was asked to step out of the vehicle, and a personal search revealed a small bag of meth and a small bag of marijuana, as well as $160 in cash. A set of digital scales was also found. According to the officer, the girl would not admit to owning the drugs but a male passenger, identified as 25-year-old Troy Rector, allegedly admitted to owning the drugs. Rector was taken into custody. He was also charged with reckless endangerment.
