The Crossville Police Dept. will partner with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to enhance impaired driving enforcement during the upcoming Super Bowl weekend. Its part of the state’s continuing “Booze it & Lose it” campaign. Areas of saturations will be held along roadways within the city beginning at 6 PM Friday, Feb. 3 through 11:59 PM on Sunday, Feb. 5. Officials say during last year’s Superbowl Weekend, there were 76 crashes and eight fatalities related to impaired driving across the state.
