CROSSVILLE WOMAN ARRESTED FOR CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

A routine traffic stop by a deputy in Cumberland County yesterday resulted in a warrant being served on a woman for animal cruelty. The warrant states 24-year-old Jordyn Shae Howard of Crossville did not take care of a dog at a Prentice Street home. In July of this year, the dog was rescued by A Time 4 Paws volunteer. The canine was taken to a veterinarian and later euthanized because of its poor health after being very malnourished. Howard was taken to the Cumberland County jail.
