The all-volunteer Cumberland County Rescue Squad recently received a major boost thanks to a generous $10,000 contribution from the local philanthropic group Power of 100 Women.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization operating around the clock, the rescue squad relies heavily on community support to maintain its operations. According to representatives, the substantial funds will directly support essential operational needs, including specialized training, equipment maintenance, and the purchase of vital gear.

Squad leadership expressed deep gratitude for the donation, emphasizing that the investment from Power of 100 Women significantly strengthens the team’s readiness to answer emergency calls and protect the citizens of Cumberland County when they need help the most.
