CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES UNDERGO JOINT S.W.A.T. TRAINING WITH CROSSVILLE POLICE
Two Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies and a few members of the Crossville Police Department are spending the week in Georgia, undergoing joint SWAT training. Sheriff Casey Cox told 105.7 News this morning the enrollees are being put through a full week of rigorous training – including rappelling exercises – at the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Training Center. Sheriff Cox noted this week’s sessions are just one facet of the ongoing training his deputies and the Crossville police undertake on a regular basis.
