DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS REPORTED IN AREA

The coldest air of the season will kick off 2018 in the listening area. A Wind Chill Advisory once again is in effect from 10 pm tonight (Monday, January 1, 2018) to 9 am Tuesday (January 2, 2018) for wind chills of -5° to -10°. This will set up dangerous cold weather that can lead to hypothermia if not properly dressed when outside in the elements. Low temperatures tonight will drop even lower going down to near 0 in the higher elevations. Please dress warm from head to toe if you have to be outside today, tonight and tomorrow. Also check on the elderly and bring pets inside.
