Roane County Deputies and fire crews were called west Roane County for a single vehicle accident Sunday. The wreck happened around 2:30 PM when a female driver rolled her vehicle over on Caney Creek Rd, near the New Hope Rd. area. The woman and her dog were pulled from the wreckage by a nearby resident and another driver. The woman, who escaped serious injury, told officers that she left the road after trying to avoid a deer.
