This morning, the Crossville Police Department released an accident report involving a school bus.

It took place Monday around 4:30 p.m. on Northside Drive near South Drive.

The report states a 2016 Bluebird school bus operated by 53-year-old Donald Allen Smith of Clarkrange was traveling east. He told police the last thing he remembered was going around the curve then he was in the ditch.

The bus sustained damage to the front from colliding with the ditch and a business driveway.

Smith was not hurt in the crash.

No students were on board at the time of the accident.
