DEWALL RIPS PRONGS FROM TASER OFF HIS CHEST IN INCIDENT WITH OFFICERS

A Crossville man is facing a host of charges after an incident this past weekend. A deputy passing by Pleasant Hill Market apparently saw an elderly woman attempt to get out of a vehicle screaming for help. A male subject in the automobile, 45-year-old Jason Erin Dewall of Crossville, supposedly got out with his fists balled up and came towards the officer in an aggressive manner yelling “shoot me.” The deputy deployed his taser hitting Dewall in the chest but Dewall ripped the prongs out of his chest, continuing at the officer then ran into a field. Dewall apparently tried to hit a deputy with a large stick before he was arrested. Dewall was charged with domestic assault, assault, resisting arrest and evading arrest.
