Seventeen-year-old Drake McCain Taylor from Rhea County has survived Hollywood and is on to his next American Idol adventure. Last night, Drake delighted audience members, viewers and judges alike with his rendition of “You Are Always on My Mind.”

The next show will air Sunday night, from Hawaii. It’s Final Judgment Week and all of Rhea County – indeed, most of East Tennessee – will be cheering him on.
