DRUG BUST TAKES PLACE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER PARKING LOT

Cumberland County Investigators were recently tipped off of possible drug dealing activity being carried out in the Justice Center parking lot. When they arrived, authorities observed a Maroon colored Saturn with a male subject sitting low in the driver’s seat. He identified himself as 49-year-old Robert Earl Pharris. When he was asked about having weapons, Pharris’s hand moved to his right side. He revealed two knives clipped to his belt. During a frisk of the suspect, officers found a bulge in Pharris’ coat pocket which turned out to be a black pouch with two small baggies of meth ready for resale along with 21 Alprazolam pills. A large amount of money was also confiscated. Pharris was charged with two counts of manufacture/delivery/sale of drugs.
