A leading candidate for the University of Tennessee’s new athletic Director is a very familiar face. Several media outlets, including ESPN and USA Today are suggesting that former Vol’s head coach Phillip Fulmer is in line for the position. Fulmer has been away from the field since he stepped back in 2008 but he has kept close touch with the school and lately has been very visible on the campus. In recent months, several names have emerged as possible candidates for the position which will be relinquished by Dave Hart come June 30th.
