DURHAM EXPELLED FROM TENNESSEE HO– USE 70-2

The Tennessee House has expelled a member that came under scrutiny of the State Attorney General after alleged sexual harassment charges. The vote was 70-2 Tuesday to get rid of Franklin Representative Jeremy Durham after a review of the report stated that Durham had encounters with at least 22 Capital Hill women. Durham told members that he had assembled a file which included details on each incident in the report but that it was not the time to reveal the contents. Durham then walked out of the forum, much to legislator’s dismay. It’s the first time that a state house member has been expelled in 36 years.
