Midtown and Harriman firefighters responded to 1418 Oakdale Highway just outside Harriman this morning to a structure blaze. Despite frigid conditions, crews were able to save much of the single story dwelling. Roane County Emergency Management and the Roane County Rescue Squad were on scene to support the firefighters with a warm place to get in out of the bitter cold for a short time. There were no injuries reported.
