From Sparta Rescue Squad:

At approximately 6:35 tonight the Sparta-White County Rescue along with Eastland Fire Department, Doyle Fire Department, Cherry Creek Fire, EMA, EMS, and White County Sheriff’s Office were paged out to Virgin Falls to help a family of hikers who couldn’t make it out of the trail. A team was deployed down the trail, contact was made with the subjects and assisted in helping out of the trail.
