The executive director of the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) was placed on administrative leave late this morning. The UCHRA Board of Directors made the decision on Luke Collins, who will be on leave with pay and is forbidden from talking to any UCHRA employees. The board then instructed the agency’s attorney to find an independent lawyer to launch an internal investigation regarding reported issues with Collins’ time sheets and other factors. Collins said at the meeting that he has been falsely accused. UCHRA serves 14 counties including Cumberland, Fentress, Overton, Putnam, and White in the listening area.
