Fairest of the Fair winners from 2017, along with hundreds of fair members and workers, will be in Nashville starting today for the 96th Annual Convention of the Tennessee Association of Fairs at the Sheraton Music City Hotel. The convention runs through Saturday. The 2017 Cumberland County Fairest of the Fair winner, Kealey Lowe, will compete against other winners of the Fairest of the Fair in the state including Fentress County’s Lexi Caldwell and Morgan County’s Adele Young. They all will compete for the title of Tennessee Fairest of the Fair tomorrow night in the Plantation ballroom of the hotel. The Merit Awards Banquet will also be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday when the state’s top fairs will be recognized for outstanding achievement during the 2017 fair season.
