The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded Monday afternoon to an ATV accident on the 1700 block of Browns Creek Road.

The report released today states a 1994 Suzuki King Quad ATV operated by 35-year-old Dustin Godsey was traveling east when he left the road and struck a tree.

Godsey was ejected, hit the tree, and landed in the grass.

Troopers say Godsey was not wearing a helmet at the time of impact.
