FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO HOUSE BLAZE IN HARRIMAN

Midtown firefighters along with mutual aid from the South and West Roane County Fire Department, all responded to a house fire last night at 142 White Oak Drive in Harriman. A deputy was first on the scene and noticed  smoke coming from around the eaves of the structure. When the first  fire truck got there, crews saw smoke coming from the attic area. Crews got the blaze under control with most of the structure saved. There were no injuries and the exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
