On June 19 at 6:58 AM this morning, SRCVFD was dispatched to a structure fire with a report of four children inside the home. Thankfully, the fire—located in the carport—was contained by 7:10 AM, and all children had been safely evacuated before our arrival.

This is one of those calls we never want to receive, but we’re grateful for the quick actions that led to a safe outcome. Thank you to all our volunteers who responded, and to the Roane County Sheriff’s Office for their support.
