FORMER BLEDSOE COUNTY DEPUTY ARRAIGNED MONDAY
A former Bledsoe County deputy who is charged with official misconduct appeared in court for arraignment Monday. Jake Brewer faces three counts of theft and three counts of official misconduct. Brewer allegedly pawned his county-issued weapon and then less than a week later, pawned a coworker’s sidearm. Brewer was fired last Aug. 9th after the incidents had been revealed. Officials say that he had worked for the sheriff’s dept. for seven years prior to this event and had had no problems.
