FOUR ARRESTED AFTER DEPUTIES RESPOND TO BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

A Crossville man familiar to the court system found himself arrested again this week. Deputies went to a home on the 500 block of Lantana Road for a burglary in progress. They encountered Gregory Shane Stokes and others in a van. Stokes was charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property. The others, 39-year-old George Griffith, 31-year-old Andrea Allred, and 45-year-old Bret Kearley were each charged with the same crimes as Stokes. Allred was additionally arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth. The 36-year-old Stokes has been booked into the Cumberland County jail 36 times for various crimes.
