The Roane County Health Department will be providing free flu shots to Roane County Schools students of all ages. Six opportunities will be offered during after school hours (3:45 PM – 6:00 PM) at each elementary school in their respective community. An additional offering at the health department is offered during fall break. Students may visit any of the following schools/dates to receive their flu shot. Parents/guardians will also have the opportunity to receive a flu shot as well.

October 2, 2018 – Ridge View Elementary
October 4, 2018 – Dyllis Springs Elementary
October 9, 2018 – Roane County Health Department
October 16, 2018 – Midway Elementary
October 18, 2018 – Bowers Elementary
October 25, 2018 – Kingston Elementary
November 1, 2018 – Midtown Elementary

Parent information will be provided to all students at their respective school. All required paperwork will be filled out on site the day the child receives the shot. Also, parents and children do not have to attend their community’s scheduled day. Parents can take their child or children who are in school in Roane County to any of the schools on the day shots are being given.
