There could be changes coming to the child support system in Tennessee. Two of the revisions released that are under consideration include people who are incarcerated could be eligible for an adjustment of their child support cases and a person might also be able to get credit for an insurance premium if a step-parent or other relative provides health insurance for their child. Officials will host an open forum about the changes in Knoxville on September 27, 2018 to get public input. It will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the DHS Family Assistance Office at 2700 Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville.
