FT. CAMPBELL SOLDIER DIES IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT WHILE IN KUWAIT

A Fort Campbell soldier stationed in Kuwait died in a vehicular accident Saturday. State Dept. Officials are investigating the wreck in which 1st Lt. Jeffrey Cooper died when a vehicle he was riding in overturned while he was traveling from Camp Buehring to the Ali Al Salem Airfield. The Department of Defense confirmed the accident was not related to combat. The 25-year-old was a native of Mill Creek, Washington and joined the Army in 2013. He arrived at Fort Campbell in July 2015.
