Crossville police responded to a residence on Brenda Lane early this morning for a fugitive present. Officers encountered 23-year-old Tony W. Starkes of Crossville who was wanted in Putnam County on charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. No information was initially available regarding the circumstances of the offenses. Starkes was transported to the Putnam County line where their deputies took him to jail.
