This week, the Harriman City Council voted to raise garbage fees an extra dollar for residents.

The new rate will go into effect next month (April 2024).

The reason rates will increase is that it costs the city more now to get rid of the garbage than in previous years, and Waste Connections will be utilizing new garbage cans.
