Roane County deputies responded yesterday to a residence on the 200 block of Midtown Lane for a disturbance. The report states 26-year-old Garrett Gielissen forced his way into the home, struck two subjects and supposedly took money. After speaking to all parties involved and looking at the evidence, officers charged Gielissen with aggravated burglary, theft of property, and two counts each of simple assault and preventing the use of the 911 system.
