Dignitaries from Cumberland County, including County Mayor Allen Foster and Crossville Mayor James Mayberry, attended the Governor’s Conference on Economic and Community Development seminar this week. A check was presented to the dignitaries for $525,000 for a community block grant for sewer rehabilitation and the Select Site designation and $15,000 for a Three Star grant. The seminars held in Nashville are giving city and county leaders, including ones from Cumberland County, ideas and ways to move forward with advancements and enhancements.
