A Roane County grand jury indicted 63-year-old Darrell Wayne Griffin, Sr. of Kingston for rape. The indictment states the incident reportedly took place on January 28 of this year involving an adult female victim. Griffin was taken into custody yesterday, processed at the jail and his initial bond was set at $75,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court this Monday (June 28, 2021).
