PRICE FACING TWO COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ARSON AFTER HOUSE EXPLOSION
Court officials say 25-year-old Thomas Lee Price of Kingston has been indicted by a Roane County grand jury on two counts of aggravated arson and insurance fraud.
The incident reportedly took place in September 2020 when Price allegedly destroyed a structure at 731 Gallaher Road by means of an explosion with the intent to collect insurance. The blast leveled the residence and debris was recovered several hundred yards from the scene.
Price was arrested yesterday and taken to jail. He is set to be arraigned on the charges in front of a judge this Monday (June 28, 2021).
